The film brings Tallulah (an ex Hollywood star) and Monica (an aspiring young Indian actress) worlds apart together - in an audition class.

Plus

"The London Underground can be a dangerous place. Specially if three men confront the CCTV system with their loaded cameras"
A crazy film by Christian from Panico - conceived as a 3-part documentary about cameras in daily life. The first as a pilot and the second and third about family albums and fashion photography. However the content of the "pilot" proved too controversial to get release forms from people featuring, so Cristian has cut it separately from the other 2 episodes, which he is currently shooting. The film is 14 minutes and it was shot on DV. Cristian directed, produced and edited this film with a budget of £250. It has an original soundtrack from some guys from Oxford called "All Day Breakfast". All sounds extremely non-love fest! Fantastic!

7th February This thursday 7th feb Halyon featuring the lovely Panico will tempt you here with a seductive film about a man called "Dave". Its about being thirty and all that anxt, and lot of other things that this mysterious director (who currently edits Pet Rescue amongst other TV programmes) wants us to unravel through viewing! This is a personal film shot on mini dv with minimum cost and limited resources. "Dave" was adapted from a short play staged at the Union Theatre (using the same actors) was written and directed by Simon Richards who will be here to tell us about the rabbit that got away!

18th January So Loose Films, a London based production company, set up in 2000. They have cunningly used the EIS scheme to raise substantial private investment so that now Royalty (screening tonight) is their third and most ambitious short film. With a budget of £20,000 Royalty was shot on super 16mm and blown up to a 35mm print. It has already been shown at the London Film Festival, Brief Encounters International Film Festival and the KODAK Showcase at BAFTA (yosein saw it there and was really impressed).

What's it about though? I hear you cry ...

Royalty is a film about one night in the life of Kelly, a young prostitute working the streets of King Cross.

Director Paul Williams is joining us to introduce the film and chat with members afterwards. So if you are planning your short or looking to work on others - its an opportunity not to be missed!

No that's not all!
Paulo from Panico will be topping his last screening - which went down so well we asked him back for more!
